Police called out to crash involving vehicle and motorcycle near Teutonia and Villard

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police were called out to a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that occurred just after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Teutonia and Villard.

Police say the driver of the car was exiting the McDonald's restaurant at that intersection when a motorcycle turning from Villard to Teutonia struck the vehicle.

Police say it appears neither driver saw one another.

The driver of the motorcycle was pushed underneath the car that he struck -- but a few Good Samaritans in the area were able to jack up the car to help the motorcycle driver to get out from underneath it.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say there is no indication either driver was impaired.
