More gun violence: Milwaukee police investigate four separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday night, July 3rd.

The first shooting incident occurred in the 1500 block of N. 38th Street around 9:06 p.m.

Police say a 32-year-old Milwaukee man indicated that he was shot by unknown suspects while seated in a vehicle.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening wound.

Police say their investigation into this matter is ongoing.

The second shooting incident occurred at 27th and W. Hope around 9:37 p.m.

Police say a 22-year-old Milwaukee man indicated that he was shot by an unknown subject as he was walking down the street.

He presented himself at a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening wound.

Officials say the victim is not being completely forthcoming with the events surrounding the incident.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.

The third shooting incident occurred near 37th and Hopkins.

According to police, a woman was shot around 11:30 p.m. Police say her injuries are non-life threatening.

No one has been arrested -- and the shooting remains under investigation.

Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred in the 5800 block of N. 22nd Street at 11:45 p.m.

Officials say a 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was shot while seated in a vehicle. Officials say the subjects came up from behind the victim and fired numerous rounds into the vehicle.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her non-life threatening wounds.

Police say their investigation into this  matter is ongoing.
