Police: Bullet fired during drug deal gone bad strikes man a block away

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police responded to a shooting on Saturday morning, July 5th in which one person was shot.

Police say it happened around 10:00 a.m. Saturday -- in the 4800 block of W. Center.

Police say a 59-year-old Milwaukee man was shot while he was standing at a bus stop -- from rounds fired during a drug deal gone bad a block away.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

No one is in custody.
