Banned for life? Mother says photo of her two-year-old daughter could get her kicked off the site



NORTH CAROLINA (WITI) -- Facebook officials are speaking out after a Hickory, North Carolina mother says she could be banned for life after posting a photo of her young daughter that exposed her buttocks.

Jill White, a photographer from Hickory, North Carolina told WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina she recreated the famous "Coppertone Girl" pose with her two-year-old daughter.



White says Facebook deemed the photo to be "pornographic."

White says she was threatened with a lifetime ban from the social media site.

White says initially, after posting the photo, she was banned from Facebook for 24 hours.

Then, White says, she censored the photo and reposted it to Facebook.



That photo was reported as well, and White says if Facebook deems the photo to be inappropriate, she could face a lifetime ban.

So what are Facebook officials saying about the photo? Will White be banned for life?
