Plea deal: Woman accused of providing heroin to man, which led to his death, is convicted

OZAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) -- 34-year-old Kirsten Nadolski, charged with providing heroin to a 31-year-old Grafton man, which led to his death, has reached a plea deal in the case against her.

In court on Wednesday, July 16th, Nadolski pleaded no contest to a felony charge of first degree reckless homicide/delivering drugs.

A felony bail jumping charge was dropped.

The state is recommending a sentence of 13 year in prison, with five years of initial confinement and eight years of extended supervision with restitution for Nadolski.

Nadolski is alleged to have provided heroin that led to the death of 31-year-old Joel Rebarchik of Grafton.

The Ozaukee County Drug Task Force and detectives from the Sheriff's Department were requested to investigate the death of Rebarchik on Sunday, January 19th. The initial examination determined it was likely Rebarchik died of a heroin overdose.

Nadolski will be sentenced on September 3rd.
