Lifeguard’s quick thinking may have saved the life of boy who nearly drowned in Cedarburg

CEDARBURG (WITI) — A four-year-old Cedarburg boy is recovering after nearly drowning in a pool over the weekend.

A lifeguard pulled the boy out of the water around 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 18th.

The child regained consciousness after the lifeguard gave him CPR.

He was taken to the hospital.

Cedarburg police say the lifeguard’s quick thinking probably saved the boy’s life.
