Sheboygan County Sheriff’s officials recover a baby alligator, discovered in an alley

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (WITI) — Sheboygan County Sheriff’s officials on Sunday responded to reports of a baby alligator in a ditch on Indiana Avenue.

Sheriff’s officials were called out just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 20th.

The baby alligator was found in a ditch behind a business in the 2700 block of Indiana Avenue.

Sheriff’s officials were able to capture the baby alligator — and it was handed over to the Department of Natural Resources.

The Sheboygan Police Department was also called out to the scene.

No further details have yet been released.
