She's tops! Plymouth woman wins nationwide Piggly Wiggly jingle contest

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Piggly Wiggly was on the lookout nationwide for a fresh take on their long-time "Piggly Wiggly, shop the pig!" jingle -- and they found it right here in Wisconsin.

Piggly Wiggly reached out to employees as well as customers to submit their own version of the jingle. But after a month-long search, Eva Nimmer, an actor/singer out of Plymouth, was selected as the grand prize winner of the jingle contest.



Nimmer was awarded a $1,000 Piggly Wiggly gift card, was able to professionally record her jingle in a recording studio, and will have her jingle periodically played in Piggly Wiggly's radio and TV ads.

Piggly Wiggly plans to run this same promotion in 2015.
