Police seek suspects in strong-armed robbery that occurred near Marquette campus Thursday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a strong-armed robbery that took place near the Marquette University campus on Thursday, July 24th.

It happened just before 5:00 p.m. Thursday.

Marquette's Department of Public Safety tells FOX6 News two suspects implied a weapon and demanded property.

The victim handed over property, and the two suspects fled on foot southbound on 23rd Street.

The victim, who was not affiliated with Marquette, was not injured.

Milwaukee police and the Department of Public Safety are investigating.

The first suspect is described as a black man, approximately 25 years old, approximately 6'1" tall. He was wearing a white T-shirt with dark blue pants.

The second suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 20 and 25, approximately 5'10" tall. He had braided hair tied behind his head, and was wearing a white T-shirt with dark blue pants.
