WEST MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Moments of panic at a West Milwaukee McDonald’s restaurant on Wednesday afternoon, July 30th.

The restaurant was evacuated after someone accidentally sprayed pepper spray.

Fire officials say the spray went through the restaurant’s ventilation system — which led to the evacuation.

Everyone was able to make it out of the restaurant.

We’re told one person was taken to the hospital after having a panic attack.

Once the scene was cleared, the building was aired out and the Health Department was called in. The restaurant has since reopened.
