CHARGED: Grant County man accused of numerous crimes against children, possession of child porn

MADISON (WITI) — Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has announced that Aaron Bouzek has been charged with numerous crimes against children.  He has an initial appearance is scheduled in Grant County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon, July 30th.

According to the criminal complaint, Bouzek sexually assaulted a child from the age of two- to eight-years-old.

He is charged with two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and three counts of possession of child pornography, all in relation to that victim.  The charges span from the end of 2007 to April of 2014.

Bouzek is additionally charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child and sexual exploitation of a child for conduct with a one-year-old.  Bouzek is also charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child for conduct with an infant and a two-year-old.  Bouzek is charged with another eighteen counts of possession of child pornography.

Repeated sexual assault of a child under 12 is a class B felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 60 years.

First-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12 is a class B felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 60 years.

Possession of child pornography is a class C felony and punishable by imprisonment for not more than 40 years or fined not more than $100,000 or both.

Child exploitation is a C felony and punishable by imprisonment for not more than 40 years or fined not more than $100,000 or both.
