Ready for some football?! Packers gearing up for Family Night! WATCH it LIVE on FOX6 Saturday!

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- A fun-filled day and evening awaits Packers fans this Saturday for ‘Packers Family Night, Presented by Bellin Health.’

Family Night will feature a full practice, 11-on-11 sessions that will feature live contact. Evening activities will kick off in the stadium at 5:30 p.m. The evening remains family-focused and will feature a game-like atmosphere with use of the video boards, gameday music and a fireworks show at the end of the night.

The event will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Family Night is a part of the Back to Football campaign, presented by Bellin Health. Other components of the campaign include Packers training camp and Packers preseason games.

Activities will begin at 11 a.m. in the American Family Dream Zone, Lambeau Field Atrium and parking lot. The Appleton Rock School will perform in the Lambeau Field Atrium beginning at noon. The Fan Walkway area, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. along the sidewalk from Oneida Street to the Oneida Nation Gate, will feature activities for fans to enjoy, and a display of animals from the Wildlife Sanctuary.

In addition, the Copps–Pick ‘N Save Family Night Picnic, will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. in Lambeau Field’s east-side parking lot. The evening will feature other activities for the younger fans, including sidewalk chalk and airbrush tattoos.

The Packers will welcome representatives from the ALS Association – Wisconsin Chapter to Family Night as their official community guests. More than 40 representatives of the organization will make up the Packers Ambassador Line as the players take the field.

Other on-field activities include an NFL flag football game with players from the Northwest Wisconsin Champions League, as well as a performance by the Green Bay Elite Dance Team and a BMX Bike Show before the practice begins.

Included in the evening’s activities will be the popular Chili’s “Jerseys Off Our Backs” promotion with Packers jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed practice – to be given away in a random drawing. The evening will conclude with the Copps–Pick ‘N Save Fireworks display.

Fans are reminded that all individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket for admittance. In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are cancelled.

The Packers are reminding fans of the NFL’s stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Stadium cushions are also not allowed as a part of the policy, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets or zippers and are 18” wide or smaller are allowed.

Due to the potentially large number of people attending, parking will be limited. Fans are asked to arrive early. Parking is also available in neighboring areas.

For fans not attending the event, the event will be televised on WITI-TV FOX6 in Milwaukee! The live broadcast will start at 6:00 p.m.
