Arrested in traffic stop, he posted bail -- but one day later, he's arrested AGAIN!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says a man arrested during a traffic stop in which Sheriff David Clarke took part, posted bail on Monday, August 11th -- and one day later, he has been arrested again!

It was last Thursday, August 7th when Sheriff Clarke pursued a vehicle for several miles and performed a traffic stop after seeing the vehicle attempting to cut off and run another car off the road.

Sheriff Clarke called dispatch for Milwaukee Police Department officers to come to the scene at N. 76th Street and Good Hope Road.  A woman and two children in the vehicle the subject had chased for 30 minutes were not injured.

Don Bush

30-year-old Don Bush of Milwaukee was arrested in that incident, and posted bail Monday night at 6:00 p.m.

The Sheriff's Office says he was arrested again Tuesday morning at about 3:00 a.m. for calling and texting the victim multiple times since his release from jail.

Police arrested him outside the victim’s home.

Bush violated the conditions of his bail, which included having no contact with the victim, and was arrested on a misdemeanor bail jumping charge.
