GLENDALE (WITI) — More than 60 artists had their works featured at Bayshore Town Center on Saturday, August 16th — but you had to look down to see it. That’s because the art was part of the 8th annual Chalk Art Festival.

The public was invited to view the art — and then vote on their favorite pieces in six categories.

The event is presented by Bayshore Town Center in partnership with Welcome to Glendale, the City of Glendale’s Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Riverwest Artists Association and the North Shore Academy for the Arts.

The festival also included workshops for all ages to participate in as well as a Kids Area where children can create their own masterpieces and fun art projects to take home.
