Released: Green Bay Packers say goodbye to seven players

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers have released seven players ahead of the final preseason game to be played Thursday, August 28th. The Packers take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Lambeau Field in the Thursday evening game.

The transactions were announced Sunday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

The Packers are 2-1 in the preseason -- winning their last two games and falling to the Tennessee Titans in the preseason opener.
