Police identify suspect in PNC Bank robbery, charges expected soon

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- St. Francis police say they have now identified the suspect who robbed the PNC Bank branch on Kinnickinnic Ave. on Saturday morning, September 6th. They expect charges will be filed soon.

Police say a 57-year-old Racine man has been arrested. Charges are pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

We're told the man was arrested in Edwardsville, Illinois.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a lone suspect entered the PNC Bank branch and provided the teller with a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect then fled from the bank on foot last seen northbound.
