Back in one piece: Clifford the Gifford Gator has his stolen head reattached!

CALEDONIA (WITI) -- After its head was stolen, and subsequently placed on the porch of Gifford Elementary School's principal, Clifford the Gifford Gator is back in one piece -- in his spot outside Gifford Elementary School in Caledonia.

Clifford's head was removed from the front of the school -- and it was placed on the principal's front porch on April 14th.

The head suffered extensive damage.

This isn't the first time Clifford's head has been removed.

In 2005, vandals cut his head off -- and it was subsequently returned and reattached to Clifford's body.
