Looking for that perfect autumn "snap:" Wisconsin DNR launches fall photo contest

MADISON (AP) — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is launching a fall photo contest.

The agency is looking for fall photos taken on state properties such as parks, forests, trails and recreation areas for its "Fall in Love with Wisconsin State Parks" contest. People can enter one photo per day on the DNR's Facebook page.

DNR Facebook fans will then vote for their favorite photos in the contest gallery. The photo with the most votes by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 26 will win. The winning photographer will get a 2015 State Park sticker and trails pass and a two-year subscription to Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine.

Photographers must be at least 13 years old and must identify the property where the photo was taken.
