Eight departments called out to house fire in city of Pewaukee

PEWAUKEE (WITI) — Eight departments were called out to a house fire that occurred in the city of Pewaukee on Sunday night, September 21st.

Crews were dispatched to the scene shortly before 10:00 p.m.

Responding departments include: the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, City of Pewaukee Fire Department, Town of Brookfield Fire Department, Town of Delafield Fire Department, Village of Dousman Fire Department, Oconomowoc Fire Department, Village of Sussex Fire Department, Stonebank Fire Department.

The fire occurred at a home on Oak Street in the city of Pewaukee.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control — and Sheriff’s Department personnel were in contact with the homeowner. It is not believed anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
