Police search for suspect who attacked 25-year-old woman

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are looking for a man accused of attacking a woman near 39th and Glendale in Milwaukee.

It happened on Tuesday, September 30th just before 7:00 a.m.

Police say the 25-year-old woman was walking with the suspect grabbed her by her arm and pulled her toward a black pickup truck. The woman was able to get loose -- and police say she punched the man and ran away.

Police say their investigation into this incident is ongoing, but they don't believe this attack is part of a trend.

The suspect in this case is described as a heavyset African-American man, between the ages of 40 and 50. He is said to be 5'8" tall. He was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. We're told the man's jeans had paint on them.
