ROAD RAGE: Did honking his horn cause a 30-year-old to be shot?

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 2500 Block of N. 50th St. at 1:30 p.m. on October 4th.

The 30-year-old male victim from Milwaukee indicated that while driving in his car he used his horn "aggressively" at another vehicle. That vehicle followed the victim for a short distance. When the victim stopped and got out of his car, shots were fired from the other vehicle striking the victim.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

This incident is still under investigation.
