(WITI) — The “Blood Moon” was a sight to see! The partial eclipse started around 4:15 a.m. and the full eclipse took place between 5:25 a.m. -6:25 a.m. on the western horizon. The eclipse turned the moon a burnt reddish orange for about an hour early Wednesday, October 8th.
