Milwaukee police: 13-year-old, 18-year-old arrested for stealing car

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Two armed robbery suspects were arrested by District 5 officers from the Milwaukee Police Department after stealing a car.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery in the 1800 block of N. 7th Street around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21st.

The victim, a 25-year-old woman from Milwaukee, told officers she was exiting her vehicle when she saw three males suspects approach her.

One of the suspects implied a weapon and demanded her keys and money.

The victim complied and the suspect fled in her vehicle. The other two suspects fled on foot.

About 20 minutes later, officers located the vehicle with the suspects matching the description in the 110 block of W. Walnut Street.

Two suspects, a 13-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, were taken into custody.

Police continue to search for the other suspect.

The 13-year-old had a firearm on him at the time of his arrest.

It's believed the two suspects may have been responsible for another armed robbery n the 600 block of W. North Avenue shortly after the incident on N. 7th Street.

Milwaukee police will present this case tot he Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.
