Parents get crafty with wheelchair Halloween costumes

(WITI) -- Parents are getting pretty creative when it comes to Halloween these days.

Check out this awesome dad who didn't let a challenge spoil his son's special day.

The 6-year-old has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. So his step-dad built him a one of a kind costume. He turned the wheelchair into a rolling tank that proved to be a huge hit!

And that isn't the only epic wheelchair costume this year. One mom in Kansas built a pirate ship for her son's wheelchair. Her son, Logan, lives with an advanced form of spina bifida.

The wheelchair transformation took about 4 hours to create. And was made out of a cardboard box and some wood pieces.
