DOT: Series of ramps in and around the Hale Interchange to reopen ahead of schedule

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- On Friday, November 14th, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will begin reopening a series of ramps that had been closed for maintenance work in and around the Hale Interchange.

Friday morning

  • The I-43 North on-ramp from WIS 100 will reopen at 4:30 a.m.

Saturday morning

  • The North to West System Ramp (I-894 East [southbound] from the Zoo Interchange to I-43 South [westbound] to Beloit) will reopen at 7 a.m.
  • The I-43 South off-ramp to WIS 100 will reopen at 7 a.m.

WisDOT had anticipated these closures lasting until late-November. The Hale Interchange maintenance project will continue but with limited traffic impacts.
