Police: Victim in armed robbery opens fire on suspect demanding her property

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating and armed robbery and shots fired incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon, November 13th.

Police say an unknown armed suspect approached a 36-year-old Milwaukee woman in the 8000 block of W. Green Tree Road and demanded her property.

That woman fired several shots at the suspect, and the suspect returned fire.

The woman wasn't injured and police say the suspect fled the scene.

Police are now seeking that suspect.
