Kenosha's new Amazon employees, with help from Santa, surprise Boys & Girls Club kids

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Employees with the new Amazon Fulfillment Centers in Kenosha, with a little help from Santa Claus, surprised the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha on Wednesday, December 10th.

Amazon employees delivered a large box of donated items to support the Boys & Girls Club's many education and recreational programs.

The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha is one of 15 non-profits across the country to receive a giant box filled with more than $5,000 worth of items from a holiday wish list the club's staff created.

Wednesday's event was the first major community event for Amazon in Kenosha.

Amazon recently opened one of two Fulfillment Centers in Kenosha, with hundreds of employees. The second Fulfillment Center is still under construction.

When both centers are open and functional, Amazon will employ more than 1,000 full-time workers in Kenosha.
