Applebee's raises over $100,000 for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- Wisconsin Hospitality Group, LLC and its 36 Wisconsin-based Applebee's restaurants are proud to announce that their 15th annual Apples For Kids fundraising campaign was a success with raising $115,386 to support Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

The money will go to support the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Throughout 13 years, Wisconsin Hospitality Group has raised more than $1.3 million in combined gifts, including this recent donation.

The donation was presented to the Children's Miracle Network team in November at the Children's Hospital Neonatal Center in Milwaukee.

On November 18th, 2014, Children's Hospital opened their new NICU that features 70 individual rooms for babies with advanced technology.

"We are honored to support Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in their dedication to providing unparalleled healthcare. Applebee's has always been passionate about getting involved in the community and we are delighted to continue in our partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin," said Mark Dillon, President and CEO of Wisconsin Hospitality Group.

The new space was able to become a reality thanks to the critical funding by Wisconsin Hospitality Group and several other major gifting providers.
