Chris Banjo signed to Packers active roster, Jamari Lattimore placed on injured reserve

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers have signed Chris Banjo to the active roster from the practice squad and placed LB Jamari Lattimore on injured reserve.

The transactions were announced Saturday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Banjo, a 5-foot-10, 207-pound second-year player out of SMU, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a non-drafted free agent on April 19, 2013.

After being waived by the Jaguars in July of 2013, he was signed by Green Bay and went on to appear in all 16 regular season games with one start and the postseason contest as a rookie.

Last season he finished second on the team with 10 special teams tackles.

In 2014, Banjo was waived by the Packers following training camp and has spent the regular season on Green Bay's practice squad.
