MILWAUKEE (WITI) — One day after more than 70 were arrested for protesting the Dontre Hamilton shooting, the National Guard has been called up to help.

A spokesperson from Wisconsin National Guard says soldiers are being notified of the call up.

They received a request on Saturday from Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke. Governor Scott Walker has approved the use.

The National Guard says at this time, there is no specific mission, but they are making preparations to be able to immediately respond if needed.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office declined to comment about the decision.

I am so happy we have Governor Walker and Sherriff Clarke handling this. Barrett and Flynn would be incapable of handling it correctly.

Clark is a no nonsense police officer with a head on his shoulders. Keep it civil. These people shouldn’t be blocking traffic etc. It isn’t the citizens fault so why are they made to suffer at the hands of these rogues.

Keep it civil, stop endangering others ( blocking traffic ), keep it peaceful and you’ll be alright. Law is law and you protesters don’t get to make your own rules up along the way. Great job and a big Thank you to all involved with keeping us safe. Happy Holidays!

If all those people have the time to do all this protesting then they should have time to find jobs and get of welfare and unemplyment.

“MTEA members at the protest.” That’s funny…LMBAO…But it would be a break from class room teaching at MPS. Trust me it would be worth it! Yet it still remains ridicules to included the teachers union activist in Milwaukee protest regarding Dontre Hamilton “over-kill” by a Milwaukee rogue cop and DA no-charge decision. You right-wingers got one thing right about Sheriff David Clark (I might not agree with everything he say’s in public) he is a top professional law man. I support his administration and the duties his Sheriff performs.

Agreed. It is time we ended the enslavement of whites and Asians by the biggest group of hate filled racists on the planet- the blacks. End welfare and public assistance!!!

It is likely that things could get pretty wild in Milwaukee when the D.A releases the results. It would be a good idea to shut down the main arterial roads leading into the city and shut down businesses for a few days to prevent endangering of the general public. Furthermore bring in the Marines, special forces maybe even the seals to prevent theft and vandolism These violent protesters can not be taken lightly. Look at what happened in Missouri, the police were overpowered and an entire street was burned to the ground police vehicles set on fire cars overturned it could get really ugly! I believe the D.A has been waiting for some below zero temperatures which would keep a good majority of the protesters indoors.

Let’s not not stop with the Marines and Navy SEALS. Let’s bring in some M1A3 Abrams tanks and Apache attack helicopters. A few rounds of canister and a half a dozen Hellfire missiles should solve the problem once and for all.

The unionistas that are combining forces with the dontre clan should be ashamed of themselves. Leading the dontre family down the wrong direction and using them as pawns. Now they have combined the occupy, jobs and dontre into one big circus to further their commie lefty liberal granola eatin agenda.

These out of state provocateurs should be ignored. There are actual true civil rights issues that need to be addressed in our city and in our country. Marches and picket signs have never worked. We need to become active in our own government. Is this the land of the free or not?
