Suspect sought in attempted abduction of two young girls in Village of Fredonia

OZAUKEE (WITI) -- The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office is looking for the suspect  in an attempted abduction that occurred in the Village of Fredonia.

The incident occurred on Monday, December 22nd around 10:11 p.m.

According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office, the suspect approached two  young girls on the side of the road and attempted to get them to enter his vehicle. Officials say the suspect offered the girls money to come with him and stated his name was "Richard Newman."

The subject was driving a black truck/SUV. He is described as a white male, medium build with brown facial hair, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and tan baseball cap.

A similar incident occurred approximately one hour earlier in the City of Plymouth. The photos of the suspect vehicle are from the Plymouth Walmart surveillance.
