PEWAUKEE (WITI) — Officials in Waukesha County say a 70-year-old driver struck a garage Tuesday, December 30th.

It happened near the intersection of Woodridge Lane and Jacquelyn Drive in Pewaukee.

The call came in just after 4:00 p.m.

We’re told the driver wasn’t injured, but she was taken to the hospital to be medically cleared.

The exact circumstances of the crash are unknown. A Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman tells FOX6 News it didn’t appear anything was wrong with the woman’s vehicle.

Officials say the damage to the garage has caused the whole home to be uninhabitable. One person was home at the time, and the home’s residents are now staying at a hotel.
