Three people shot, wounded in two separate shooting incidents



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that happened near 6th and Vine early Sunday, January 4th.

The victims were attending a party when an altercation broke out shortly before 12:30 a.m.

Two women from Milwaukee were shot and wounded. The first, a 20-year-old, suffered a serious gunshot wound.

The second victim suffered a non life-threatening wound. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment of their wounds.



Meanwhile, police are investigating a second shooting that occurred near 38th and Rohr just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

The victim, an 18-year-old male from Milwaukee, told officers he was shot by an unknown subject who fired at him from a moving vehicle. He was taken to a hospital by a friend -- and is being treated for a non life-threatening wound.
