200 firefighters called out to battle blaze at business/residence in Village of Cascade

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) — Two-hundred firefighters were called out to fight a fire at a business/residence in the Village of Cascade in Sheboygan County on Monday, January 5th.

Those 200 firefighters came from 18 different departments.

We’re told one firefighter was taken to the hospital by ambulance after suffering a minor injury.

The fire broke out shortly before 10:00 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Madison Avenue.

The building affected was significantly damaged.

We’re told the Red Cross has been contacted for assistance.
