Headed to Lambeau to watch the Packers take on the Cowboys? Here are things you'll want to know

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- As fans prepare to come to Lambeau Field Sunday, January 11th for the Packers-Cowboys divisional playoff game, the Green Bay Packers officials are offering a few reminders.

NFL safety policy: The Packers and law enforcement partners are asking fans to allow for extra time in making their way to the stadium gates. With the extra attention a playoff game brings, additional time will be needed to enter the stadium. Game attendees should adhere to the NFL safety policy that has been in effect during the last two seasons. Additionally, the enhanced screening process may take longer than usual as fans will be dressed in heavier clothing for the cold.

Fans should also remember that as part of the NFL safety policy, no bags or purses are allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Small clutches that do not exceed 4.5” by 6.5” are permitted. Stadium cushions are also not allowed as a part of the policy, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets or zippers and are 18” wide or smaller are allowed.

Blankets and unzipped sleeping bags may be carried into the stadium if they are carried loosely.

Secondary ticket sources: The Packers again remind fans to be wary when purchasing tickets from secondary and unofficial ticket sources. The team has received reports of stolen and counterfeit tickets circulating online through unauthorized resellers.

The Packers recommend fans utilize team partners Ticketmaster and Packer Fan Tours for purchasing tickets or ticket packages. Other ticket sources, according to the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection, should be members of the National Association of Ticket Brokers, as these businesses may offer a money-back guarantee if a problem occurs with purchased tickets.

Packers season-parking holders: Fans who are holders of 2014 Green or Gold package parking passes in lots 1, 2, 5, 10, and 11 will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis for the amount of spaces allocated; $40 cash will be required at the lot entrance. Those with Green or Gold package parking passes in Lot 12 will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis for the amount of spaces allocated; $20 cash will be required at the lot entrance.

Club Seat parking pass holders with passes labeled P1 (playoff game 1) will be accepted in Lots 3 or 5 for a $40 fee at the lot entrance. Suite parking pass holders with passes in Lots 3 and 6 will be accepted with no fee. These pass holders are reminded to use the pass labeled P1 (playoff game 1).

Parking for guests with disabilities will be available on a first come, first-served basis at Lot 3 off Lombardi Avenue and Lot 7 off Valley View Road; $40 cash will be required at the lot entrance.

Limited parking is also available without a parking pass at Lots 10 and 11 off Ridge Road and the site of the former Citgo gas station on Ridge Road. These spaces are available on a first come, first-served basis with a $40 cash fee to be collected at the lot entrances.
