In the interest of accuracy, it should be pointed out that the man the media identify in this story as “the victim” is in reality the perpetrator in an attempted strong-arm robbery. The man who is in jail at the end of the story was legally carrying a handgun. Since the criminal was patting hus victims down, the shooter had two options: surrender his weapon to a felon or use it. In reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm if the bad guy took his gun, he drew and fired. He did the right thing.

I cannot understand what you are trying to say Zeek. The person who shot and killed the robber is not a felon but is in custody for shooting the robber??? Or is the person who shot and killed the robber a felon carrying a firearm illegally and that is why he is in custody??? Where do you get your alleged inside imformation from the grapevine?????
