Racine home struck by gunfire, people sleeping inside not hurt

RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police are investigating an incident in which a home was struck multiple times by gunfire.

Officers were dispatched to the neighborhood near Clayton Ave. and Riverside Dr. just before 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13th.  They located one home that was struck several times. One of the projectiles entered the home, where it was found inside an exterior wall.

Two people sleeping in the home were struck with debris from the projectile traveling through a wall, but nobody was hurt.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
