Stolen Chihuahua: Police need your help to identify dog theft suspect

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect wanted for stealing a dog on the city's south side.

The theft happened near 15th and Becher around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14th. The suspect walked back and forth on the sidewalk adjacent to the victim’s yard, reached over the fence and picked up a three month-old Chihuahua before she fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a female, white, between 20-25 years-old, 5’8” tall, and wearing glasses. She was wearing a stocking cap, a white waist-length puffy coat with a white hood, black pajama pants, and high-top basketball shoes.
