Bucks torn by another ACL injury, Kendall Marshall out for season

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (AP) — Already without No. 2 overall pick Jabari Parker and center Larry Sanders, the surprising Bucks suffered another blow Saturday when it was announced that reserve point guard Kendall Marshall would be lost for the season with a torn ACL.

Marshall hurt the knee Thursday when the Bucks faced the Knicks in London.

Marshall signed a one-year deal with Milwaukee last summer and was averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 28 games while anchoring a bench unit that is first in the league this season with 43.6 points per game.

Bucks coach Jason Kidd said it tough losing Marshall, who he said was playing well.

The Bucks finished an NBA worst 15-67 a year ago but are 21-19 this season, despite playing without a number of key contributors for various stretches.
