Pete Korns pleads guilty to amended charge, sentenced to fine

WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- Pete Korns, a detective at the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct on Tuesday, January 20th.

After the guilty plea was issued on Tuesday, the judge  sentenced Korns to a fine of $367.50. If Korns does not pay the fine within 30 days, he could have his driver's license suspended for up to two years.

Korns was originally charged with domestic-related disorderly conduct.

Back in October, sources told FOX6 News Korns was placed on administrative leave, after co-workers suspected he had been coming to work high on opiates. He’s managed to keep his job, despite being officially reprimanded nine times since 2011 for misconduct and being suspended for three days earlier this year.
