Elevated levels of carbon monoxide force Brown Deer family from its home

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- North Shore firefighters were dispatched to a home on Goldendale Dr. in Brown Deer after a family was alerted to elevated carbon monoxide on Tuesday evening, January 27th.

The first responding crew found elevated CO levels, and then called for another crew to help them start to ventilate the CO from the home.

We Energies also responded to the scene in an effort to pinpoint the source of the leak. Crews have to shut off all gas to the house.
