WisDOT: Long-term closure planned on County KE over WIS 16 in Village of Hartland

WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- As part of ongoing bridge work, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will be fully closing County KE over WIS 16 in the Village of Hartland. The closure on County KE will begin Wednesday, February 4 and will last several months.

The closure sets the stage for removal and eventual replacement of the County KE Bridge deck. This work is part of the WIS 16 project, a rehabilitation of bridges along the freeway from WIS 67 to I-94. The project began in October 2014 and is anticipated to be completed in late fall 2015.

Motorists will be detoured via the WIS 16 on-ramps and turning around at the nearest exit.
