Bud and Sue Selig pledge another $450,000 to Milwaukee Film Festival

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Bud and Sue Selig have pledged another $450,000 to the Milwaukee Film Festival.

The Seligs have supported the Film Festival with gifts over the past six years, totaling $1.2 million.

Their support is recognized with an annual audience award.

The latest gift will provide $150,000 to the Milwaukee Film Festival for each of the next three years.

The Milwaukee Film Festival is scheduled to run Sept. 24 through Oct. 8, 2015. Last year's festival presented 275 films from 63 countries at four venues and on five screens. Attendance grew to 64,187 in 2014, compared with 55,194 in 2013, and there were 72 sold-out screenings, compared to 64 in 2013.
