Racine police seek suspects in armed robbery of Midtown Market

RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police are currently looking for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at Midtown Market on Friday, January 30th.

Officers responded to the scene around 8:48 p.m.

Upon their arrival, they spoke with the clerk, who stated two masked suspects entered and produced weapons. One suspect stood near the front door armed with a long gun while the other suspect approached the counter with weapon drawn. The suspect then demanded money and received an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the area.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5'7 - 5'8 tall, average build, wearing a dark jacket and black mask, armed with a long gun, possibly a rifle.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, approximately 6' tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black mask, armed with a dark colored pistol.
