Milwaukee police: Three arrested in connection with armed robbery on city's south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Three suspects were arrested by officers from District 2 of the Milwaukee Police Department shortly after they robbed a victim at gunpoint.

According to police, officers responded to the area of W. Scott and S. 20th at about 5:30 p.m. on February 9th for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim, a 19-year-old man, was walking on the sidewalk when he was approached by three suspects. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim, and demanded his cell phone and wallet. The victim complied with the demands and the suspects fled from the scene on foot.

Responding officers in the area located and arrested all three of the suspects within 25 minutes of the crime.

One of the suspects had the exact amount of money on him that was stolen from the victim. Another suspect had the victim’s cell phone. The suspects are a 15-year-old male, an 18-year-old man, and a 20-year-old man, all from Milwaukee. MPD will present charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
