Suspect walks into gas station to rob it, runs before getting a dime

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are asking the public to help identify an attempted armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing the Mobil Gas Station near Silver Spring and Lovers Lane Rd. around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10th.

The suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the cashier, and demanded the employee open the door to the cashier’s office. The employee locked the door before the suspect could enter the office and the suspect then fled from the scene on foot.



The suspect is described as a male, black, 20-30 years-old, about 6’ tall, 200 pounds, with a dark complexion, and black facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black winter hat, black sunglasses, and a black zip-up jacket. The jacket had a red number “5” on the left arm, the number “03” on the right chest, a gold emblem on the left chest, a red and gold design on shoulders, and a large gold and red design with a crown on the back. He was also wearing green latex gloves, light blue jeans, and black shoes.
