Breathing new life into a vacant building: Milwaukee man says he has plans for former Finney Library

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A former Milwaukee library could be getting new life.

The Finney Library could be sold to Matt Bohlmann of Milwaukee. He wants to restore the building into an incubator for local artists.

The city-owned library sits on the corner of North Avenue and Sherman Boulevard. It has been vacant for over a decade.

Bohlmann says he would self-finance the building's restoration at a price of $315,000.
