Alcohol, extreme cold weather contributed to death of Town of Grafton woman

OZAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy on Mary Ann Schuerman on Wednesday, March 4th.

It appears that alcohol and extreme cold weather were contributing factors to Schuerman’s death. The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office investigation to this point has not uncovered any evidence of foul play. However, the investigation remains open pending toxicology results.

Schuerman, age 70, was found deceased in the family van by her husband in the Town of Grafton on Friday, February 27th. Officials say Schuerman and her husband had returned home Thursday evening from a night of celebrating her birthday.
