Milwaukee beats UW-Milwaukee in Arizona

MARYVALE -- For the first time in history, the Milwaukee Brewers played UW-Milwaukee on Wednesday in what served as their exhibitions opener. The big leaguers pulled away to win, 8-0.  The Panthers only managed one hit against seven Brewers pitchers, but there is no question each side feels the experience was positive.

Mike Fiers started and pitched two perfect innings for the Crew. Taylor Jungman followed him with two more shutout innings, striking out five.
