Update: Guitar-playing frog statue from West Bend is located by some passersby

WEST BEND (WITI) — The stolen guitar-playing frog statue from West Bend has been found!

Around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14th, two people walking on Sportsman’s Lane near Smith Lake located the copper frog. They turned the statue over to the police department.

The 50-pound frog, which is valued at more than $2,500, was not damaged. It had been on display on Main St. in downtown West Bend.

No arrests have been made in the theft.
